Wellbeing Warriors

Leading with Kindness

Here at Tullamore ETNS, our Wellbeing Warriors play a vital role in helping to create a happy, caring and inclusive school environment for everyone. The committee is made up of 10 pupils from the senior end of the school, this includes 5 girls and 5 boys. These children are chosen each year by their classmates because of their kind and caring nature. The purpose of our Wellbeing Warriors is to promote kindness, inclusion, positivity and wellbeing throughout our whole school community.

Wellbeing Warriors In Action

Creating a Positive School Environment

Our Wellbeing Warriors work very hard throughout the school year and are wonderful role models for all pupils in TETNS. Their responsibilities include organising World Kindness Day, providing mindful activities for each class every Monday, promoting Fitness Fridays, assisting with Active Week, monitoring and handing out lunchtime footballs and helping to keep the PE equipment storeroom organised and tidy.

One of the Wellbeing Warriors’ favourite jobs is being our “Kindness Catchers” in the yard, where they reward and recognise children who are displaying kind, caring and inclusive behaviour during playtime. Through their enthusiasm, teamwork and positivity, our Wellbeing Warriors help to make Tullamore ETNS a welcoming and supportive place where everyone feels valued and included.
